Have you ever seen Amitabh Bachchan giving an audition for a role? No, right? Well, your wish has come true. Still, confused? Wait, we will walk you through it. In the latest promo shared by Kaun Banega Crorepati makers, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone are seen recreating the iconic “ek chukti sindoor ki kimat” scene from the film Om Shanti Om. For whom? They did it for director Farah Khan Kundra. We don't blame you if you still can't believe it. It all started when Amitabh Bachchan questions Farah, “Kabhi bhi aapko aesa nahi laga ki main[Farah] aapko [Big B] apne picture mein lena chahti hoon [Have you never felt like casting me in one of your films?]" To this, Farah said, "Sir, aap toh sabka dream hote hain [Sir, you are every director's dream]." Farah Khan then asks Amitabh Bachchan to do a scene. "Sir, abhi hum karte hai ek scene [Sir, let us do a scene right now]." Don't get excited. There is more.
As soon as Farah Khan's says “ready and action”, Deepika Padukone performs the scene “ek chutki sindoor ki keemat”. Amitabh Bachchan follows her but seems like Deepika is not impressed and makes a face. Then, Farah comes into the picture and asks for a retake. Deepika Padukone adds to the humour and tells Amitabh Bachchan to "listen to your co-stars". What happens next? Is Big B angry? No. Amitabh Bachchan replies, "Accha sorry sorry. Maafi chahta hoon (Okay, I am sorry. Apologises)."
And, if you are thinking that this can't get funnier, then you are wrong. Amitabh Bachchan again mouths the lines with much enthusiasm and fails to impress Farah Khan. The director then enacts the scene. And, oh boy. Amitabh Bachchan nails it like a “Shahenshah”.
