New Delhi:
Kapil Sharma is back on the big screen with new film titled
Firangi. Kapil shared the first motion poster of the film, in which Kapil, dressed as a sepoy, literally kicked a 'firangi' out (of the frame). It seems the film is a comedy set during India's independence movement.
Firangi is produced by Kapil Sharma's K9 Films and it is directed by Rajiv Dhingra, who was the creative director of Kapil's television series
The Kapil Sharma Show. Rajiv has also directed Punjabi superstar Amarinder Gill in
Love Punjab. It seems Kapil Sharma and his team is getting in back in form for show time.

For those who are waiting for the
return of Kapil Sharma on television may have to wait for a while as there have been no updates about the return of
The Kapil Sharma Show. Kapil Sharma's comedy show was taken off air by the channel temporarily because of Kapil's ill-health but now the actor has regained form and is reportedly pulling his act together. Kapil started drinking heavily after his mid-air fight with then co-star Sunil Grover but now a source close to the actor told
DNA that Kapil has checked out of the rehab before his scheduled time.
"I am not done yet," Kapil told
Bollywood Hungama.
Firangi also stars Ishita Dutta, Monica Gill and Raju Srivastava. The film is expected to release on November 24.
Firangi is Kapil Sharma's second film after the ill-fated
Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon.
