Attention folks, the makers of Project K dropped the teaser of the film on Friday morning. The film's teaser was released at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). Also, did we mention that the film is now called Kalki 2898 - AD. The teaser gives us a glimpse of a dystopian world that is engulfed in darkness. The force that can change the world is represented by the likes of Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan. The text "When the world is taken over by darkness, a force will rise," flashes on screen and indicates that Prabhas and his squad are here to change the world and for better. The end to the darkness begins with them and it is called, drumrolls...'Project K." We can't wait for these onscreen heroes to take over darkness. All we can say is, may the force be with you.

Some scenes from the film's teaser release at the Comic-Con were shared by the makers on Vyjayanthi Movies' official Instagram handle. Meanwhile, Rana Daggubati's company Spirit Media is the international marketing and distribution partner of Kalki 2898 AD. Take a look here:

Deepika Padukone is skipping her Kalki 2898 - AD duties at the Comic-Con in the wake of Hollywood strike. Deepika Padukone counts as a member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (SAG-AFTRA) that is demanding better pay and more protection against artificial intelligence in the industry from film and television studios.

Kalki 2898 - AD is being directed by Nag Ashwin, who is best-known for directing the National Award winning 2018 biographical drama Mahanati. The film marks Deepika Padukone and Prabhas' first collaborative project, while the actress and Amitabh Bachchan have previously co-starred in the 2015 film Piku. They will also feature together in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film The Intern, which featured Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro.

The film is being directed by Nag Ashwin and it is being backed by Aswini Dutt, producer and founder of Vyjayanthi Movies. Kalki 2898 - AD will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
