London: He was the Beatle who became aglobal peace icon but John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono says thatthe singer-songwriter would have been a fan of Lady Gaga, thepopstar better known for her bottom baring antics, if he werealive today.

Gaga had performed with the Japan-born artiste tocelebrate the Imagine hitmaker's 70th birthday in October, but the 24-year-old's transparent catsuit had raised eyebrows.

"Lady Gaga has a very pretty bottom. She performedwith me on stage wearing a see-through lace catsuit and peoplethought it was an insult because you could see her bottom. I'mthe lady who did an exhibition of bottoms. How could hersoffend me?," Ono, 77, told Daily Mail in an interview.

And as for her dead husband, he would have loved her."I think she's wonderful. John would have loved her, because she's an artist, she's fearless and she pushes everylimit, which we both always adored. She has played on John'swhite piano and I think that's wonderful," said Ono.

Ono, married twice and spent a brief period in amental institution, before meeting Lennon in 1966. The couplelived at the Dakota building in New York with their son, Sean, until Lennon was shot by a deranged fan in 1980.

Ono, who performs with Sean in the The Plastic Band, says that Lennon would have been an avid user of socialnetworking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

"If John were around today he'd love Facebook. Hewould love the way the world has changed. He'd love theInternet and Twitter. He'd be sending out pronouncements andmessages and giving his opinion all the time on everything. Hewould be 70 years old, but he'd want to know everything thatsgoing on," said Ono.
