  • "I am glad the film finally came to me as I was keen on working with Madhur since watching Chandni Bar. I am happy I've worked with him in his best film," said Kareena Kapoor.
  • The 31-year-old actress said she did not have any apprehensions taking up the film after Aishwarya Rai opted out.
  • "I didn't have any misgiving, nor am I wary of any comparisons. I have played the role my way, no one has played such a role before."
  • Heroine has smoking as well as bold scenes and has been given an 'A' certificate, which might cause a problem for satellite viewing of the movie. Recently, The Dirty Picture had to undergo several cuts in order to be finally aired on TV.
  • "I think it is wrong to discriminate between films on the basis of smoking or bold scenes and barring them from being telecast on TV. There are many other channels people can turn to which show such scenes," she said.
