Hanuman bhakt Salman Khan has now returned as the Lord himself. In a new animation movie titled
Hanuman Da DamdaarSalman Khan has voiced the grown-up version of the cute animated Hanuman. The motion poster of the film, featuring an angry young Hanuman and a determined looking Jatayu, released on Tuesday, which also coincides with Hanuman Jayanti. The motion poster also features the older version of Hanuman, who can be seen watching over from behind an ice-caped mountain range. Children's film
Hanuman Da Damdaar is all set to hit theatres on May 19 along with Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor's
Half Girlfriend.
Hanuman Da Damdaar narrates the story of Lord Hanuman and is set at a time which dates back much before he met Lord Ram. It was a time when the young Hanuman was still unaware of his powers and strengths.
Hanuman Da Damdaar has been directed by Ruchi Narain, who has also written the script. In a statement, the director said she's assured that the film will be nothing less than
damdaar. "It was while working out the release calendar that we realised that our first look launch was coinciding with Hanuman Jayanti. With this kind of blessing, we're sure this summer will be truly
damdaar," said Ruchi.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. The 51-year-old actor was unanimously loved for portraying the Hanuman
bhakt Bajrangi, who saw a stranded and speech-impaired girl off to her home in Pakistan.
