Welcome to Cannes, Pooja Hegde. The actress made her big Cannes red carpet debut this year and she made it count. For the big day, Pooja Hegde wore a white Maison Geyanna Youness ball gown, accentuated with feathers. She had her hair pinned up in a sleek ponytail. She accessorized her look with drop earrings. Pooja attended the screening of Tom Cruise's Top Gun : Maverick on Wednesday. She shared a video from her red carpet debut and wrote: "The iconic red carpet stairs at the Cannes Film Festival. What a rush this was. #grateful #cannes2022 #topgun."
Sharing a closer look of her red carpet OOTD, Pooja Hegde wrote: "Soaking it all in... Cannes 2022 #redcarpet #IndiaAtCannes #GodawanAtCannes #CraftedInIndia #DrinkResponsibly."

Equally interesting, Pooja Hegde's daytime look also (cape)tured our attention. Pooja Hegde opted for a white dress with floral prints on it, designed by Honayda. She accentuated her look with a matching cape. "Just a day in Cannes," she wrote.
Ahead of her Cannes trip, Pooja Hegde's fans surprised her at the airport. They carried a poster the text on which read: Heartfelt congratulations and all the best Pooja Hegde for representing India at the Cannes Festival 2022."

Besides Pooja Hegde, other Indian stars at the Cannes Film Festival this year include Deepika Padukone, who leads the pack as a jury member. Cannes veteran Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who walked the red carpet last night. As did actors Tamannaah and Helly Shah. Other attendees include actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tamannaah, Grammy winning composers AR Rahman and Rickey Kej and R Madhavan. Akshay Kumar was also on the guest list. However, he had to cancel his trip after he contracted Covid-19 over the weekend.
In terms of work, Pooja Hegde has a super busy schedule ahead. She has many projects lined up. She recently opposite Vijay in Beast. She also featured in Telugu romantic comedy Most Eligible Bachelor with Akhil Akkineni on screen. Koratala Siva's action drama, Acharya with superstar Chiranjeevi was another ambitious project that Pooja was seen in.
The actress also featured in Radhe Shyam, opposite Prabhas. The film released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. After Housefull 4, the actress will return to Bollywood with Rohit Shetty's Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh as the protagonist.
