New Delhi: Aruna PK, a cancer patient whose last wish was to meet superstar Shah Rukh Khan, died on Tuesday. Ms Aruna's son Akshat Khot posted a heart-warming message for his mother and tweeted, "Even God needs happiness in times of chaos. May the purest and happiest soul of maa Rest in Peace. Thank you everyone." Later, SRK, who had earlier sent a video message to Aruna PK, 60, wishing a speedy recovery, tweeted, "May Allah give you the strength to deal with the loss of your beautiful mother. I know how sad it is to deal with the loss of a parent. Know that she is always with you and henceforth do things that give her reasons to smile in heaven."
 

Akshat thanked SRK for the message and replied, "Thank You @iamsrk for giving her happiness in her final moments."
 
 

In the video message sent to Aruna PK, shared by one of SRK's fan clubs on social media, the actor said, "You are a very strong lady, Aruna. I know your gusto, your will power, happiness that you have shared with your loved ones. I can tell that you have the strength to fight this illness and with our prayers and your strength you will get well very soon." Akshat had requested Shah Rukh Khan to fulfil her last wish of meeting him.
 

Twitter also paid tribute to Aruna PK and netizens also thanked Shah Rukh Khan for helping her fulfil her last wish.
 
 

Shah Rukh Khan, last seen in Jab Harry Met Sejal, is currently filming Aanand L Rai's untitled film, co-starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
