Mumbai: Dabangg baddie Sonu Sood, who is basking in new-found glory after the stupendous response to his well-sculpted body and performance as 'Chhedi Singh' in the movie, feels that Bollywood is not very high on the male skin show.

"I think we are still toying with the idea (of male skin show). Frankly our actors are not equipped for it. The audience is also not fully ready for it...we are locked in a particular mindset. It is no t easy to pull off your shirt, bare your torso and go beyond it. It needs a lot of
conviction. You have to be comfortable in your skin. A great physique and a good performance make for a delicious combination," Sonu told PTI.

On whether he will be comfortable baring it all like his counterparts Neil (in Jail) and John (in Newyork) he said, "It may sound cliched...but I will not be hesitant to do a bold nude scene if the script demands so. Only, I should be convinced about the act."

The 37-year-old actor, a self-confessed fitness freak says the rave reviews for his look in the Salman starrer is the result of a strict regimen and vegetarian diet.

"I have been working out for the last 16 years to achieve this status. Physique is definitely a recipe for success. Gymming for me is as important as breathing or brushing my teeth...You need to respect your body and treat it like a temple specially when you are facing fit stars like Salman," said the actor who is enjoying the adulation post Dabangg.
