Zubair Khan's journey ended on
Bigg Boss 11 after he was evicted from the show. Zubair Khan's claim to fame was his connection to Dawood Ibrahim - he claimed to be Haseena Parker's son-in-law - but it was refuted by the underworld don's family source. In one segment of the
Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan also schooled Zubair Khan for lying about his family connection. Soon after that Zubair was taken out of the house due to medical reasons and later Salman announced that Zubair was evicted, having secured the lowest number of votes. Zubair was nominated along with non-celebrity contestants Jyoti Kumaari and Bandagi Kalra and former
Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai actress Shilpa Shinde.
Despite single eviction, two contestants' journey came to end on
Bigg Boss 11 after the first week. The first was Zubair Khan (as per weekly eviction procedure) and the other was former
Splitsvilla contestant Priyank Sharma. In Saturday night's episode, Salman reprimanded Vikas Gupta and Priyank Sharma for getting abusive and hitting Akash Dadlani. Though Salman believed that Akash's actions were uncalled for, he said Priyank's behavior was unacceptable and unpardonable, which is why he was asked to leave the house.
Hina Khan was especially upset with this update and announced that she'll quit the show if Priyank was forced to leave. Later, Bigg Boss called Priyank to the confession room and asked him to leave without saying goodbye to the other contestants. However, this may not be the end of Priyank's journey in the show and he may return in a later stage - it happened all the time with Swami Om last season.
This weekend Bigg Boss hosted the
star cast of Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Again. Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor all promoted their film on the Salman Khan-hosted show. Parineeti, Shreyas and Tusshar were also part of a task assigned by Bigg Boss.
In another 'bigg' update, Shilpa Shinde lost her only friend Arshi Khan to Hina Khan, who have forgiven each other and decided to start a fresh. Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta have also decided to end their fights. Before the
Weekend Ka Vaar episode ended Salman Khan announced the
padosis will soon join members of the main house.
