Irrfan in a still from the video.
Mumbai:
Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan who is known for his intense performances, has showcased his quirky side in a new video for stand-up comedy group All India Bakchod (AIB). He features in a parody of rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh's song
Party All Night and takes a dig at all party numbers featured in Bollywood films.
Irrfan, who has delivered power-packed performances in films like
Maqbool, Paan Singh Tomar, Haasil and
Haider, is also seen in an item number for the first time in the almost seven-minute video.
Irrfan quipped on his Twitter page:
Uploaded on the official YouTube channel of AIB on August 2, the video begins with the members of the comedy group convincing Irrfan to do a party song, as it's the only thing he has never attempted before, on the silver screen.
Standup comedy group AIB which came in the spotlight for its controversial 'Roast' involving Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Karan Johar earlier this year, has made a spoof on the hit track
Party All Night from the 2013 film
Boss.
In the video, Irrfan can be seen explaining why he doesn't do party songs in movies. He talks about the cliched 'must-haves' in all the typical party songs - girls, alcohol, same dance steps, different shots of the same person and so on.
The 48-year-old actor will next be seen in
Jazbaa and upcoming Hollywood movie
Inferno.
