New Delhi: How excited are you about Rajinikanth's next film 2.0? So are the stars of the movie - the Thalaivar headlines a cast comprising Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, all of who are currently in Dubai busy with promotional duties for the movie. 2.0, which is expected to hit screens in January next year, has not dropped their first trailer yet - so we can only guess how the movie will look like from the couple of behind-the-scenes videos and posters. But we have spotted the 2.0 biggies in one frame on social media, from the press meet in Dubai today. Ahead of their interaction with the press, Rajinikanth chatted up with Akshay, Amy and A R Rahman, who is the composer for the movie.

Twitter is going insane over the photos that are being shared on the film's official Twitter handle, making Team 2.0 trend.

Gup-shup done, the stars met the press at Dubai's Burj Al Arab. The music launch is scheduled for tomorrow and has zeroed in Burj Khalifa as the venue. Director Shankar is also there with the crew.

This is the first time Akshay will share the frame with the 66-year-old megastar. In 2.0 Akshay plays the antagonist - Dr Richards - who turns into a birdman like creature after an unsuccessful experiment. Dr Richards will be pitched against scientist Vaseegaran and also his creation Chitti, both characters played by Rajinikanth. The 2.0 cast also includes actors like Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain.

2.0, which also stars Amy Jackson, was earlier slated to arrive on Diwali but will release during the Republic Day weekend in 2018 after being rescheduled twice.
