Odisha 10th result has been announced and the pass percentage is 78.76 per cent. Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha announced matric results before noon today. The result is now available on the board's official website, 'bseodisha.nic.in', and official results portal, 'orissaresults.nic.in'. Odisha matric results will also be available on private result portals and through SMS. The Board had held 10th examinations in March. Though the Odisha board concluded the matric exams before the nation-wide lockdown was announced to contain coronavirus spread, the board could not complete the evaluation process because of the lockdown restrictions. This year nearly six lakh students sat for the matric exams in Odisha.
"Those who have failed should not consider this as their last examination. They will get enough opportunities in life to prosper," Odisha School Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said.
Among regular students 79.71 per cent students have passed, 57 per cent ex-regular students have passed, 70.91 per cent CC-Regular students have passed, and 53.7 per cent CC Ex-Regular students have passed this year.
Bargarh district has recorded the highest pass percentage at 89.37 per cent followed by Khurda district which has recorded 87.28 per cent. Puri district is third in the state with 86.82 per cent.
Total 1279 students have secured A1 grade, 8458 have secured A2 grade, 18,188 have secured B1 grade, 31,328 have secured B2 grade, 49,153 have received C grade, 89,556 have received D grade, 2,23,195 and 1,12,575 have secured grades E and F respectively.
This year total 5,47,785 students registered for the HSC board exam in Odisha and 5,34,843 appeared. Out of these, The result has been declared for 5,33,831 students.

Among girls the pass percentage is 81.98 per cent and among boys pass percentage is 77.8 per cent.
This year the pass percentage has improved by over 6 per cent and 78.76 per cent students have passed.
