KV Admission 2019: Registration For Class 1 Admission Closes On March 19
Application process for class 1 admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas will end today. The online registration link will be disabled at 4 pm. Parents, who wish to apply for their wards, can go to the official website of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The first admission list will be released on March 26. Parents whose wards are selected, provisionally, for admission should take original documents to the concerned school for verification. The second list will be released on April 9. The third list, for vacancies, if any, will be released on April 23.

"A Child must be 5 years old as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class I," as per the admission guidelines released on February 2019.
"The policy of automatic admission of pre-primary students in class-I has been withdrawn w.e.f. session 2008-09. Now all admissions in class-I shall be treated as fresh admissions and shall be dealt with as per rules in vogue," also reads the fresh guidelines.
For class 1 admission birth certificates from Notified Area Council / Municipality / Municipal Corporation extract about the date of birth from records of Village Panchayat, Military Hospital and service records of Defence personnel will be considered as a proof for date of birth.
