JEE Advanced 2020 Live Updates: Out of total candidates who registered for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced 2020) and paid fees, 96% have attended the exam, according to a statement issued by IIT Delhi. In paper 1, as many as 1,51,311 candidates appeared and in the second paper, 1,50,900 candidates took JEE Advanced. The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), conducting body of JEE Advanced 2020, previously said that 1,60,831 candidates have registered for the IIT admission test.

The second paper of JEE Advanced ended at 5:30 pm. The first paper was held from 9 am to 12 noon. As per JEE Advanced analysis by expert Ajay Kumar Sharma, National Academic Director (Engineering), Akash Educational Services Limited, the Physics part of the JEE Advanced paper 1 was "little difficult" and the Maths part was "little calculative".
