New Delhi: Business Studies of Class 12 of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a subject that deals with the operation and organization of modern business enterprises. The Class 12 students of CBSE have attended the exam today, and according to the reports we are getting, the Business Studies paper was a 'five starrer' to the students. "Overall the Business Studies paper can be rated as a five starrer and the students must have gained true satisfaction by performing and writing well", says Mrs. Ritu Bakshi (P.G.T. Accounts And Business Studies) at G.D.Goenka Public School, Greater Noida.

We talked to Mrs Ritu Bakshi about the Business Studies papers.

How tough were the questions for an average student?

The question paper was very easy, that has been true respite for the students. Students were easily able to judge the answers to indirect questions also. Direct questions asked were also very straight forward.

Drawbacks of the question paper?

There was nothing as such. The question paper was not at all lengthy. Even an average student was able to complete the paper before time and take a glance at revision of answers written.

The best thing about the Business Studies questions?

All the questions were quite obvious. So the students could easily write through.

How much of the questions were expected?

The question paper was much easier as expected. The students were satisfied.

How was the question paper, over all?

Overall the Business Studies paper can be rated as a five starrer and the students must have gained true satisfaction by performing and writing well

About the importance of the Business Studies paper in CBSE Syllabus Mrs. Ritu Bakshi said that the subject covers each feature of a business firm, such as how a firm will be affected in different business situations. The main areas of study in the subject include business organizations, their various features, structure and functioning, marketing, operations management, human resource management, etc. Studying Business allows a student to observe and analyze the behaviour and tactics of different firms, she said.
