The Common Admission Test (CAT) has been scheduled to be held on November 27. Candidates by now must be accustomed to the exam pattern and the syllabus. Applicants get a call from respective IIM for the next rounds of admission on the basis of the CAT cut-off for various IIMs and based on the students' preferences. The shortlisted candidates are then called for the next rounds of selection which generally include writing ability test (WAT), personal interview (PI) and group discussion (GD).

- Instead of diving into new books during this phase, stick to those materials studied during the year
- Keep solving two to three sample papers everyday to clear doubts
- Go through the CAT exam pattern to ensure that no section or topic is left out
- Keep revising notes, tips and tricks to solve easily
- Self-evaluate after giving CAT mock tests and work on the weaknesses and brush the strengths
