Now, 'Park and Fly' service at Delhi airport

New Delhi: Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), the operator of IGI airport, is offering "park and fly" facility to the passengers flying out of Terminal 3.

"With 'Park N Fly', the passengers would have the convenience of parking their cars for an extended number of days at the multi-level car parking (MLCP), when they fly out of T3," a DIAL spokesperson said.

The passenger wanting to avail of this facility will have to pay Rs 500 for the first day, Rs 400 for the second day and Rs 300 for every additional day as parking charges at the MLCP.

DIAL said these slabs are over 45 per cent cheaper than the standard parking charges.

The premium parking charge for 24 hours is Rs 900 while general parking charge is Rs 600.

So, parking a car at premium car parking for three days would cost Rs 2,700 and at general parking Rs 1,800 but if somebody uses 'Park N Fly' facility, they would be paying just Rs 1,200, the spokesperson said.

The facilities that are available at the premium parking area on the ground level include dedicated customer service desk, secured and well guarded parking space with CCTV cameras, and a dedicated fire fighting system.

The parking area is connected to T3 through a corridor at ground level and via air-conditioned skywalk with travelators on the second level. The parking is also connected to the Airport Metro Express Line, he said.
