Banaskantha, Gujarat:
The bodies of a man, a woman and her two minor children were on Wednesday found from a cave located at a hill in Danta taluka here, police said.
The woman was identified as Jassi Desai of Moradungra village, while the man Lakshman Thakore, was the driver of a jeep owned by Jassi's father-in-law, they said, adding that the children were identified as Sarabhai and Rami.
Police said Jassi's father-in-law Ghemmar Desai lodged a complaint four days ago that Thakore had kidnapped his daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
Following this, police had launched a search operation when they got information about the four bodies, they said.
Primary investigation revealed that all four seemed to have consumed some poisonous substance which caused their death, police said, adding that the bodies were sent for post-mortem and further investigation is on.
