Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu:
A Coast Guard vessel and a helicopter were pressed into service to trace five fishermen, who were reported missing after they were out in the sea last week, official sources said.
"The fishermen had ventured into the sea in a mechanised boat on August 19. They did not return to the shore till Thursday, though they were scheduled to reach on August 25,"District collector S Seetharaman said.
The names of the missing fishermen are, Anjapuli (45),
Elumalai (53), Sankaran (50), Karuppan (55) and Sekar (55).
