If yes, then chances are that you may be one of the 'loyal' spectators to get tickets at discount prices along with complimentary snacks for the forthcoming cricket match between India and New Zealand on December 1.
The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) has decided to include spectators of the last ODI match in its 'loyalty programme'. The association is still in the process of finalising the details but privileges are likely to include discounts on tickets, some complimentary snacks and preferred seats.
"We have decided to give those spectators some benefits as they are on our priority list," said RCA secretary Sanjay Dixit. According to him, the RCA will open separate counters for 'loyalist programme group' which will have a limited number of tickets. The offer would be valid only on the tickets being sold in this category. Once these tickets are sold, the offer will end. Those who watched the last match with complimentary tickets, however, will not be given any privilege or benefits. Officials mentioned that the RCA is taking this initiative to discourage the practice of complimentary tickets and freebies in the stadium and sell off as many tickets as possible. The tickets would be open for sale 30 days ahead of the match. Sources, meanwhile, disclosed that the RCA is leaving no stone unturned to maintain foolproof security. The association has decided to introduce 'turnstile security system' in the stadium in line with the Commonwealth Games.
