There is no sign of remorse or regret on the faces of these men - a father and an uncle - responsible for the murder of Asha Saini and her boyfriend Yogesh Kumar in New Delhi.

Nineteen-year-old Asha and 21-year-old Yogesh wanted to get married, but Asha's family felt if she married someone of a different caste, it would dishonour the family.

"We killed them using an electric shock. Yogesh had come to our house. We don't feel any remorse," said Om Prakash, Asha's uncle.

Yogesh's family had no objections to the relationship, and are shocked.

"I cannot believe they killed my brother. What did he do wrong," questions Renu, Yogesh's sister.

The police are investigating into the case. They say the murders seem premeditated.

Asha Saini and Yogesh Kumar were brutally beaten up and finally put to death by electrocution at her uncle's residence in Delhi where she had been staying for the last one month, the police said.

"Asha was engaged to someone forcibly but did not want to marry him. We are searching for all the culprits," said NS Bundela, DCP North West.

The incident came to light after neighbours informed the police on seeing the bodies in the premises of the house.
