New Delhi:
Apparently depressed over his performance in exams, a 17-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the balcony of his house in Mayur Vihar in east Delhi, police said on Wednesday.
Abhishekh Venkat, a Class XI student of a leading school, took the step last night.
However, no suicide note was found.
His parents said he had been depressed for the last 15 days as he was not doing well in his ongoing exams, police said.
"He had not even appeared in two of the papers," a senior police officer.
