A pair of sisters have been rescued after spending six months locked up in their house in Noida, a suburb of Delhi.
The sisters, both in their 30s, had not left their home in Sector 29 since their father died.
Neighbours alerted a local NGO, which found the sisters living in squalor and without enough food.
