Volkswagen To Showcase New EV, Limited Edition Models At The IAA Mobility Show'25

Volkswagen, the German carmaker, is setting the stage for a series of unveilings at the IAA Mobility Show 2025. The event is scheduled from 9th to 12th September in Munich. According to reports, Volkswagen is planning to showcase four of its upcoming models and new technology at the event. The brand is also set to offer an interactive platform that will give a closer glimpse of the brand's goals and plans.

Volkswagen will be showcasing a fully electric compact SUV at Odeonsplatz. The concept vehicle will offer a glimpse of a new member of the electric ID. family from Volkswagen. Its production version will complete the Electric Urban Car Family of the Brand Group Core, i.e., the merger of the Volkswagen Group's volume brands.

The all-new T-Roc will also be on show for the first time at the Open Space. Another highlight will be the ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE O2, designed in collaboration with the performance sportswear brand BOGNER FIRE+ICE. The limited special edition can be experienced in Munich together with its predecessor, the Golf II Fire and Ice from the 1990s. Following its world premiere at the 24-hour race on the Nurburgring, the exclusive anniversary model Golf GTI EDITION 50, the most powerful production GTI to date with 239 kW (325 hp), will also be making a guest appearance at the IAA MOBILITY 2025.

However, the IAA Mobility is not just restricted to Volkswagen's upcoming cars. It will also offer a glimpse of Volkswagen Materials Laboratory and Design, which will provide information on recyclable and innovative materials. Additionally, the GTI Wall will feature an action-packed racing simulator and offer the option to create personalized AI moments.
