The Yezdi Roadster is being set up for an update, which is likely to be launched on August 12. Before the event, the brand is conducting tests with the motorcycle. One of these test mules was spotted on public roads, hinting at the motorcycle's first major update since its launch in 2022. Although the test mule is covered in camouflage, it reveals multiple details about the upcoming model. Here's what we found out from the spy shots.

Starting with the basics, the bike seems to have undergone some major noticeable design changes. These revisions can be seen in the form of new design for the turn indicators and the tail section. Additionally, the test mule seems to have chopped fenders on the rear end. Furthermore, the pillion seems to be smaller compared to the outgoing version. All of this contributes to giving a more cruiser-like design. Keeping true to its roots, the bike continues to carry a dual exhaust setup.

The changes in the motorcycle seem to be in sync with the pattern followed by the Yezdi Adventure. This means there will be major changes in the design without making lots of changes in the mechanics. However, the chance of upgrades in the mechanical elements can not be completely denied, as there is no official information on it yet.

The current iteration of the Yezdi Roadster is powered by a 334 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which kicks out 29 hp of power and 29.4 Nm of peak torque. This unit is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Meanwhile, the suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear end. Braking is handled by a disc with a floating caliper at both ends, with a 320 mm disc at the front end and a 240 mm unit at the rear.

With all of the aforementioned changes, there might be some changes in the pricing of the motorcycle. Presently, the Yezdi Roadster comes at a starting price of Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
