TVS entered the adventure motorcycle segment with the recent launch of the TVS RTX 300 in India. Now, as part of its collaboration with ION Mobility, the brand plans to expand further, this time into the electric maxi-scooter segment. TVS previously teased the M1-S electric maxi scooter in August and has now teased the scooter ahead of its EICMA 2025 debut.
As seen in the latest and previous teaser images, the TVS M1-S showcases a sharp and aerodynamic front end, highlighted by twin LED headlamps paired with eyebrow-style DRLs and built-in turn indicators. It also features a flat floorboard, a single-piece seat, and a slim rear grab rail, giving the scooter a sporty look while maintaining everyday practicality.
Originally known as the ION M1-S, the upcoming electric maxi-scooter is set to feature a seven-inch TFT screen with support for various functions, including call and SMS alerts, navigation, and other connectivity options. It's also likely to include a smart key system, in line with current segment trends.

TVS M1-S Maxi Scooter
The TVS M1-S electric scooter will be powered by a 4.3 kWh battery pack that is capable of pushing out a peak power and torque output of 16.76 hp and 45 Nm. The electric maxi-scooter boasts a top speed of 105 kmph and can sprint from 0-50 kmph in just 3.7 seconds. It also claims to deliver a range of 150 km on a single charge.
While the brand has been tight-lipped about its plan to launch the maxi-scooter in India. Considering TVS's interest in its home market, it is expected that the brand will bring the TVS M1-S electric maxi-scooter to India after its European debut.
