- The grille has been redesigned for a refreshed look
Skoda unveiled the Kushaq Facelift in the Indian market in January 2026. Now, the brand is set to announce the prices of the SUV on March 21, 2026. This is the first major update for the SUV since its launch in 2021. It continues to compete in a very crowded segment, which recently saw the addition of Renault Duster, and continues to have models like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, and others.
Starting with the exterior design, the Skoda Kushaq facelift is significantly influenced by the larger Skoda Kodiaq. In comparison to the previous version, the updated Kushaq features slimmer projector LED headlights accompanied by eyebrow-shaped daytime running lights, segmented LEDs in the grille, and LED fog lights. It now gets a grille different from the previous version, which adds to its modern appeal.

From the side, it gets 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails capable of bearing a 50kg load, and rugged black cladding on the wheel arches and lower door edges. At the back, it showcases sleek, connected LED tail lights with illuminated 'Skoda' branding, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a rear wiper along with a washer. The rear bumper is designed in black and includes reflectors on both sides.

Inside, the Skoda Kushaq facelift retains a similar dashboard layout featuring a 2-spoke steering wheel with ambient lighting. The updates include a revamped user interface for the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a larger 10.25-inch digital display for the driver.

The updated model also comes with a longer list of features, such as a panoramic sunroof, a segment-first rear seat massage option, powered and ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charging pad, and automatic climate control with rear air vents.
On the safety front, standard features comprise six airbags, a rear parking camera, parking sensors for both the front and rear, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (IRVM). Nevertheless, it does not include a 360-degree camera or an ADAS suite, which are available in many competitors within the segment.
In terms of powertrain, the Skoda Kushaq facelift gets a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which produces 115 hp of power, with the option of a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, which puts out 150 hp of power. The bigger of the two comes with a 7-speed DCT; meanwhile, the smaller engine gets an 8-speed torque converter automatic with the option of a six-speed manual.
