MG Cyberster Gets New Irises Cyan Paint; Total 5 Options Now

JSW MG Motor India has introduced a new paint scheme for the MG Cyberster electric sports car. The new colour is called Irises Cyan, and gives a mix of blue-green tones. The other colors available at launch have been retained as they were. These colors include Nuclear Yellow, Flare Red, Andes Grey, and Modern Beige. Depending on the selected color, MG provides either a Black or a Red soft top roof.

Featuring a sleek Roadster design, a convertible roof, and eye-catching scissor doors, the MG Cyberster is likely the sportiest car sold in India priced under the Rs 1 Cr bracket. It has a low stance, a wide frame, and emphasizes aerodynamic efficiency. The elongated hood, compact overhangs, and smooth shoulder lines blend seamlessly with features such as electric scissor doors and a fabric soft top.

Constructed on a dedicated electric vehicle platform with a wheelbase of 2,690 mm, the roadster is equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels. At the back, the subtly sloping bootlid with a tidy lip spoiler maintains a sleek appearance while aiding in achieving a drag coefficient of 0.269.

According to MG Motor, the Cyberster is the fastest MG Roadster globally. It features a 77 kWh battery pack that supports 144 kW DC fast charging and boasts a range of 580 km on a single charge. This battery powers two electric motors that deliver a peak system output of 536 hp and 725 Nm, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds.

Key features of the Cyberster EV include four airbags, TPMS, Level 2 ADAS, drive and steering modes, eight-way powered seats with heating, V2L, automatic climate control, electric scissor doors, ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Within the cabin, the Cyberster combines a sporty design with contemporary technology. The interior showcases two 7-inch digital displays, a central infotainment screen measuring 10.25 inches, upholstery made of suede and vegan leather, dual-zone climate control, a PM 2.5 air filter, and a Bose sound system.
