
Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 189,665 units in September 2025. Total sales in the month include domestic sales of 135,711 units, sales to other OEMs of 11,750 units, and exports of 42,204 units. Notably, the exports reached an all-time monthly high.
The brand claims that the GST reform has significantly improved the customer sentiment, as reflected in the highest-ever deliveries of 165,000 units (first 8 days) during the ongoing Navratri festive period.
The sales data suggest that Maruti Suzuki's mini and compact cars, which include Alto, S-Presso, Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Swift, and more, have recorded sales of 74,090 units in September 2025, surpassing September 2024, when the brand recorded sales of 70,843 units in the category.

Maruti Suzuki's utility vehicles include Brezza, Invicto, Ertiga, Jimny, recently launched Victories, and more. All cars combined in the category recorded sales of 48,695 units, witnessing a decline from the 61,549 units sold in September 2024. Also, the Maruti Suzuki Eeco (Van) registered sales of 10,035 units in the month.
Maruti Suzuki Super Carry (LCV) recorded sales of 2,891 units in September 2025, witnessing a sharp decline in YoY sales as against the 3,099 unit sales of September 2024.

Talking about the export figures, the brand recorded its all-time high export number of 42,204 units, surpassing the 27,728 units exported in September previous year.
