Mahindra is preparing to launch a mid-cycle update of the Scorpio N in the Indian market. Although the model is still under development, test mules have been spotted several times ahead of any official announcement regarding the debut date. These sightings have revealed various details about the SUV, including its revamped dashboard design. Based on these images, it appears that this model will diverge from the automaker's current trend of offering a triple-screen layout on the dashboard.
The automaker had initiated the trend of introducing a triple-screen layout on the dashboard with the unveiling of the Mahindra XEV 9e back in 2024. It was carried forward by the XEV 9s and later the XUV 7XO. Called "coast-to-coast," the feature seems to have become one of the highlights of the recent models of the brand. However, the Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is going against the trend with a free-standing screen.

Based on the spy shots, the SUV will get a larger 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen already used on the Thar Roxx. To accommodate the new screen, the dashboard layout is revised with repositioned air vents for a cleaner, a rather modern look. Chances are, the current semi-analogue setup will be replaced by a fully digital instrument cluster, likely in the top-end variants.

An additional significant feature could be a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. This option would enhance the sense of spaciousness within the SUV and bring the Scorpio N in line with newer competitors that already include large sunroofs as a primary comfort feature. A 360-degree camera system is also anticipated to be included.

In terms of appearance, the facelifted Scorpio N is expected to bring understated yet impactful design changes. Spy shots suggest a revamped front grille that will incorporate horizontal bars rather than the existing vertical structure. This modification would also result in a grille that is noticeably larger than the current version. Additionally, Mahindra might launch new designs for the alloy wheels.
From a mechanical standpoint, the Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is expected to keep the same specifications. It should still offer the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine choices, along with manual and automatic transmission options. Rear-wheel drive will continue to be standard, with four-wheel drive available on certain diesel variants.
