Kinetic Engineering Ltd., a Pune-based manufacturer, has initiated the deliveries of its DX electric scooter. It is to be noted that the electric scooter was launched in July, and the deliveries were scheduled to begin in September. However, the process was delayed. This comes following the opening of the brand's first showroom in October 2025. They plan on making deliveries faster by opening five new dealerships this month.
Kinetic has appointed 50 dealers and issued Letters of Intent (LOIs) in key markets such as Pune, Mumbai, Baroda, Surat, Indore, Bhopal, Delhi, Gurgaon, and Jaipur. The brand aims to establish a total of 200 dealerships across the country by FY 2026-27 as part of its rapid expansion plan.

A tribute to the classic Kinetic Honda DX scooter of the 1980s and 90s, the reimagined fully-electric model is offered in two versions: DX and DX+, priced at Rs 1,11,499 and Rs 1,17,499 (both ex-showroom), respectively. Currently, bookings are open for this scooter with a token fee of Rs 1,000.
The latest Kinetic DX features a hub-mounted electric motor with a peak output of 4.8 kW, powered by a 2.6 kWh LFP battery located beneath the floorboard. This configuration enables the scooter to reach a top speed of 90 kmph, while providing a claimed range of 102 km for the base model and 116 km for the higher variant on a single charge.
Kinetic also states that using the cruise lock feature at speeds between 25-30 kmph on flat surfaces can enhance the DX's real-world range up to 150 km. There are three riding modes available: Range, Power, and Turbo.
The Kinetic DX is loaded with features such as full LED lighting, an 8.8-inch digital display, keyless ignition, a Bluetooth speaker, and advanced Telekinetic connectivity options, including real-time riding statistics, geo-fencing, intruder alerts, and vehicle tracking.
