James Bond To Ride Flamethrower Triumph Motorcycle, But Not For A Movie

Triumph Motorcycles has become the official partner of an upcoming James Bond video game. Called 007 First Light, the game will feature a custom Triumph TF 250-X motocross bike with the Bond flair. The motorcycle in the scene is modified to be equipped with a flamethrower. The players in the game will come across the machine in the iconic Q Lab and Bond. The character in the game will also be seen using the special accessory.

The presence of the Triumph motorcycle in the game allows the company to connect with a younger, tech-savvy audience to boost its brand visibility. The TF 250-X, a unique creation developed by IO Interactive, known for the Hitman series, features a flamethrower and embodies a custom design in the fantasy world. However, this initiative allows Triumph to maintain its presence in a culturally significant format.

The game offers a third-person viewpoint that combines IO Interactive's hallmark stealth and action gameplay elements, presenting a completely original and reimagined origin tale of a young James Bond. Players will take on the role of a 26-year-old Bond, a talented but occasionally defiant member of the Royal Navy aircrew who is brought into MI6.

Triumph Motorcycles In James Bond Movies

The brand previously featured in No Time To Die, with Bond riding the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE in the film's opening scene set in Matera, Italy. This earlier showcase resulted in three limited-edition Bond motorcycles, all of which were sold out, in addition to a collaborative 007 x Triumph clothing line.

Triumph TF 250-X

The TF 250-X is a motocross bike of the brand, which made its debut in 2024 and has since been updated for improvement in performance. It now comes with a 250 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke engine putting out 41 hp of power and 27 Nm of torque. The unit comes paired with a six-speed transmission and is housed in an aluminium spine frame.
