Indian Motorcycle Celebrates 125 Years With Limited Edition Models

Indian Motorcycle has marked its 125th anniversary by unveiling a special run of limited-edition models, blending heritage visuals with the same core engineering as its regular lineup. The brand is rolling out anniversary-badged versions of the Chief Vintage, Scout Bobber, and Challenger, each tagged as collectable variants rather than functional upgrades.

The 125th Anniversary collection includes the Chief Vintage 125th, Scout Bobber 125th and Challenger 125th. Across these three motorcycles, the changes are purely cosmetic: all retain the standard engines, electronics and chassis setups of their base models. The main visual upgrade is a hand-painted red-and-black paint scheme, accented with pinstripes, special anniversary badging and an individually numbered serial plate that underlines the limited nature of each bike.

Production numbers for each model are capped, with only 250 units of the Chief Vintage 125th Anniversary Edition and 250 units of the Indian Challenger 125th Anniversary Edition being made available worldwide.

The Scout Bobber 125th will be slightly more accessible, with 450 units allocated globally. Because the bikes share all mechanical and technical features with their standard counterparts, the 125th Anniversary editions are positioned more as heritage-focused, style-oriented pieces rather than performance-focused variants.

Alongside the motorcycles, Indian Motorcycle has also launched a limited-edition apparel line that echoes the red-and-black colour palette and design cues of the 125th Anniversary bikes. Each garment carries special-edition 125th graphics through prints, embroidery and patches, allowing owners to pair their bikes with matching riding gear. The move is aimed at collectors and enthusiasts who value brand legacy as much as the riding experience.
