The Indian women's cricket team's triumph at the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 has given fans immense joy, and the celebrations continue. Adding to the excitement, star batter Shafali Verma has treated herself to a stylish new MG Cyberster sports car. The prices of the Mg Cyberster start from Rs 75 lakh (ex-showroom), in the Indian market.
MG India recently shared pictures of Shafali Verma with her brand-new MG Cyberster. The photos show her at a cricket ground, where the electric sports car was parked on a red carpet. To mark the special delivery, Shafali wore an outfit that matched the car's colour, adding style to the occasion.
A video of the delivery was also posted online. In the clip, Shafali arrives at the ground where the car was hidden inside a collapsible box. She cuts the ribbon, the box folds down to reveal the Cyberster, and she celebrates by firing flares before sitting inside to explore its cabin.

Talking about the details, the Cyberster features a 77 kWh ultra-thin battery pack, paired with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain that produces 510 PS and 725 Nm of torque. With Launch Control Mode engaged, it can shoot from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. Additionally, the battery pack is claimed to be the slimmest in the industry, measuring just 110 mm, and it offers an MIDC-certified range of 580 km on a single charge.
The MG Cyberster stands out with its sleek coupe design, highlighted by striking electronic scissor doors. At the front, it features sharp LED headlights and large air vents, while 20-inch alloy wheels and arrow-shaped rear LED taillights add to its bold look. As a convertible, it comes with a soft top, finished in red on Shafali Verma's car. Inside, the cabin is packed with tech, including dual 7-inch displays, a 10.25-inch digital cluster, and a vertical infotainment screen.
