Hyundai Venue, Venue N Line Secure 5-Star Bharat NCAP Rating; Gadkari Presents Certificate

Hyundai Motor India has added another major milestone to its safety credentials as the all-new Hyundai Venue and Hyundai Venue N Line secured a 5-star Bharat NCAP crash safety rating. The certification was formally handed over by Nitin Gadkari to Tarun Garg, underlining the significance of the achievement.

The compact SUV duo delivered strong scores in both adult and child occupant protection, with the rating applicable across all variants sold in India. Hyundai also highlighted that the Venue range is underpinned by the Global K1 enhanced platform and packs over 65 advanced safety features, including 33 standard safety features across every variant.

Hyundai Venue Bharat NCAP: Adult Occupant Protection

In Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), the Venue and Venue N Line scored an impressive 31.14 points out of 32, placing them among the safest offerings in the sub-four-metre SUV segment.

The crash-tested versions included the HX2 Diesel MT and HX10 Diesel AT variants. Hyundai stated that the SUV's reinforced body shell makes extensive use of hot stamping, ultra-high-strength steel, advanced high-strength steel and high-strength steel, contributing to stronger crash resilience and improved occupant safety.

Hyundai Venue Bharat NCAP: Child Occupant Protection

For Child Occupant Protection (COP), the Venue twins secured 44.46 points out of 49, further strengthening the SUV's all-round safety credentials. This score reflects strong protection for younger passengers as well, making the Venue range a compelling option for family-focused buyers in the compact SUV category.

Hyundai Venue Safety Features

Hyundai has loaded the Venue range with a comprehensive safety package. Key highlights include six airbags, ESC, hill-start assist control, electric parking brake with auto hold, all four-disc brakes, TPMS, rollover sensor, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, reverse parking sensors, impact-sensing auto door unlock and speed-sensing auto door lock.

A major highlight is the inclusion of Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS, which brings 21 intelligent driver-assistance features. Premium safety technologies such as Surround View Monitor and Blind View Monitor further enhance everyday usability.
