Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the Staria Electric MPV at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show, presenting it as the brand's flagship people-mover. Designed to combine zero-emission mobility with a customer-focused philosophy, the Staria Electric is scheduled to launch in Korea and Europe during the first half of 2026, with additional markets joining later. Hyundai had previously introduced the ICE-powered Staria at the Auto Expo 2025 in India to gauge consumer response. While the electric version is not expected to arrive in India immediately, the company has not ruled out a future launch, especially as demand for premium MPVs continues to expand in the market.

Hyundai Staria EV: Exterior

The brand emphasizes that the Hyundai Staria Electric has been crafted with a design philosophy, embodying an 'inside out' design approach, that prioritizes interior comfort, shaping the exterior to maximize space and openness. Its elongated silhouette, lowered beltline, and generous glass areas create a bright, airy cabin with excellent outward visibility. Distinctive EV cues include a sealed front fascia, smooth body panels, and a sleek horizontal light strip that reinforces its modern identity. Practicality is enhanced by wide sliding doors and a large rear hatch, making entry effortless for families, commuters, or shuttle operators, while the streamlined grille boosts aerodynamic performance.
