A few weeks back, images of the updated Hero Xtreme 160R surfaced from dealerships across India. Now, after its appearance on the official website, Hero MotoCorp has revealed the price of the new Xtreme 160R 4V variant. Priced at Rs 1,34,100, about Rs 4,500 higher than the standard model, this new variant comes equipped with a set of fresh feature upgrades.
The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V with cruise control carries forward the same mechanical setup as the standard model, equipped with a 163.2cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine delivering 16.9hp at 8,500rpm and 14.6 Nm at 6,500rpm. Its distinction lies in the added features.

At the front, the motorcycle now sports a revamped LED headlight, drawing inspiration from the larger Xtreme 250R. This is paired with a new 4.2-inch coloured LCD instrument console. Fresh graphics and updated paint schemes further enhance its sporty appeal, with the model offered in four distinct shades.

The updated Hero Xtreme 160R 4V now comes equipped with cruise control and a ride-by-wire throttle system. Riders can choose between three modes, Rain, Road, and Sport, making it the first 160cc motorcycle in India to offer such functionality. Hero has already introduced similar tech on models like the Xtreme 125R and Glamour X. New switchgear on both handlebars allows seamless toggling between modes and activating cruise control while on the move.
