YouTuber Superbike Stunts Controversy Ladakh: India's superbike scene is booming, with moto vlogging gaining traction on social media. While some riders stay low-key, others use their machines for showmanship, shifting focus from informative content to flashy stunts for fame. Also, sometimes this kind of content often ends up with the owner being penalized.
Recently, we came across an Instagram post shared by Ali Aalyan Iqbal. He claims to be a rider, boxer, and bodybuilder. In the posts shared by Ali, he was spotted performing stunts and calisthenics on his Suzuki Hayabusa and a Kawasaki Ninja, parked in Pangong Lake. Another video by the biker shows him performing burnouts in the Nubra Valley.
However, his 'brave' stunts on the superbike have now landed him in trouble, as Ali is now booked under sections 125 and 292 of BNS 2023 by the Leh Police. The Leh police took this action against the biker for dangerously riding a bike in restricted zones of Pangong Lake and Nubra dunes, endangering Ladakh's fragile ecosystem.
The Leh Police shared an X post, reporting the matter, which said-"A domestic tourist was booked U/S 125 & 292 of BNS 2023 for dangerously riding a bike in restricted zones of Pangong Lake & Nubra sand dunes, endangering Ladakh's fragile ecosystem. Visitors are urged to respect local laws to protect Ladakh's fragile ecosystem."
The post's comment section is quite volatile, with a bunch of users criticizing the biker. One of the users highlighted the issue and commented- "Love the thrill of adventure, but not at the cost of Ladakh's fragile ecosystem! Riding on sand dunes and Pangong Lake is a no-go, mate. Let's enjoy the beauty without destroying it. Your followers look up to you for inspiration, not environmental harm."
