Citroen India's preparations to launch the Aircross X in India are underway. While the brand is yet to confirm the exact date for the event, the process has begun with the release of a teaser. Consumers who wish to get the SUV can pre-book the vehicle for a token amount of Rs 11,000. This comes as part of the French automaker's plan to revamp its line of cars sold in the country. It follows the launch of the Basalt X and the C3X.
Citroen Aircross X: Exterior, Interior
Given the French automaker's trend, the design is expected to remain more or less the same. The sole change will be the addition of an 'X' badge on the tailgate. The brand might also add new paint scheme options. However, substantial updates will occur regarding the cabin. The SUV is expected to get new upholstery for the cabin, along with minor changes in the layout of the dashboard with new inserts.

Citroen Aircross X: Features
According to the teaser, the updated feature list will encompass cruise control and new upholstery within the cabin. Notably, the brand is expected to incorporate several other features as well. To enhance the feature set, the brand may also introduce an optional 360-degree camera and a wireless charging pad, among other additions.
To further increase the appeal of the SUV, the automaker is likely to equip the top-spec variant of the Aircross X with the Cara smart AI assistant. This will enable functionalities such as voice commands and provide vehicle information, among other capabilities. Additionally, the vehicle is anticipated to include safety features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESP as standard across all variants.
Citroen Aircross X: Powertrain
Similar to the Basalt X and C3X, the Aircross X is expected to retain its existing powertrain. It will continue to use a 1.2-liter three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, matched with a five-speed gearbox. There will also be an option for a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 110 hp, which will be available with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
