Vehicle theft has been one of the major concerns of car owners and the authorities, who use their resources to find the lost automobile. While they employ various methods and technologies to recover the lost vehicles, the use of ChatGPT for the job is unheard of. Changing that, a Lamborghini Huracan EVO has achieved something that can be termed as a one-of-a-kind feat by using the artificial intelligence platform to locate its car. Based on Carscoops' report, the car was stolen two years ago.

Andrew Garcia, the owner of the Lamborghini, had lost his car two years ago. His supercar was stolen alongside other models. At the time, authorities called it a multi-million-dollar luxury car theft ring, as per Carscoops. The cars were allegedly stolen by renters who never returned around two dozen high-end cars. They even manipulated the paperwork to remove owners from the documentation before reselling the vehicles.

While the other cars were recovered by the authorities, Garcia's car remained missing. This changed when he received a message on Instagram with new pictures of the car, enquiring if he had sold it. The person with the enquiry managed to reach out to Garcia because of a business card left in the car, expecting to buy more supercars.

Following this, Garcia began his own investigation. He uploaded the images into ChatGPT, combined it with Google's location features, and was able to gather sufficient information to pinpoint the vehicle's location. After finding out the whereabouts of the car, he informed the police. Law enforcement officials located the car and verified that it was Garcia's missing Huracan EVO.

It is to be noted that the Lamborghini Huracan EVO is one of the highly desired cars among supercar enthusiasts. The iconic wedge-shaped car with a raging bull logo comes with a 5.2-litre V10 engine kicking out 631 hp of power and 600 Nm of peak torque. The unit is paired with a seven-speed DCT gearbox to make the car capable of achieving a top speed of up to 325 kmph. Meanwhile, 0-100 kmph comes in 2.9 seconds.
