Bajaj Auto has marked the retail debut of its new Chetak C25 electric scooter with a special gesture celebrating women's cricket. Each member of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Women's team, winners of the latest Women's Premier League (WPL) season, will receive a Chetak C25 as part of Bajaj's association with the franchise. The announcement brings to a close Bajaj Chetak's season-long partnership with RCB Women, where the brand served as the team's Official Ride Partner.

Positioned as the most affordable offering in the Chetak lineup, the new C25 is aimed at everyday city commuters seeking a practical and efficient electric scooter. It sits below the Chetak 30 and 35 Series models and shares much of the range's metal-bodied durability and build quality. The C25 is powered by a 2.5 kWh battery pack, offering an IDC-certified range of 113 km. A hub-mounted motor delivers a top speed of 55 kmph, while charging the scooter from zero to 80 percent can be completed in approximately two and a half hours using an off-board 750 W charger.

To boost early adoption, Bajaj has introduced an introductory offer for the first 10,000 customers, providing a benefit of Rs. 4,299. This effectively lowers the ex-showroom price to Rs 87,100. The rollout has begun in select cities, with broader availability to follow in phases as production and distribution scale up.

Despite being the entry-level model in the Chetak range, the C25 still comes with several features. These include a metal body, an IP67-rated battery pack, and a practical blend of features such as front disc and rear drum brakes, 170 mm ground clearance, and a compact turning radius. The scooter also offers hill-hold assist, reverse mode, Eco and Sport ride options, guide-me-home lighting, and basic connected functions aimed at enhancing convenience in daily use.

By rewarding RCB Women for their WPL triumph, Bajaj Chetak has effectively combined brand celebration with product visibility, aligning its latest electric scooter launch with one of the most recognized moments in Indian women's cricket.
