The brand's EL platform is designed to support the introduction of new electric scooters. It incorporates an updated powertrain and electronics, along with components from the current Ather 450 platform's battery and Atherstack. This platform will be utilized for new models intended for both domestic and international markets while managing costs effectively.
The new concept models to be unveiled will likely be based on this platform. However, the brand has yet to disclose any details on this matter. Currently, the brand's lineup consists of models built on the 450 platform.
The new affordable models based on the EL platform will likely help the manufacturer create its space in the sub-Rs 1 lakh category against competitors like TVS Motors, Hero MotoCorp's Vida, Ola Electric, and Bajaj Auto.
Moreover, the Ather Community Day will feature the launch of the brand's next generation of fast chargers. This initiative aims to enhance the convenience and efficiency of charging. An updated version of its software stack, Ather Stack 7.0, will also be introduced. This new software is anticipated to deliver substantial tech advancements and enhancements for the company's electric scooters.
