Pictures of a 1986 spec Suzuki Jimny based pickup truck have surfaced on social media, drawing attention for its vintage off-road appeal. Listed for sale but not in India. It's on sale in Indonesia, the pictures circulated through an Instagram advertisement that showcases a micro 4x4 pickup derived from the original generation Suzuki Jimny platform, now converted into a compact utility truck with a rear bed instead of a traditional cabin.
The pickup truck is built on the same short wheelbase, ladder frame architecture that underpins the first-generation Jimny. This gives it genuine four-wheel-drive capability and a rugged, simple mechanical layout.
Visually, the vehicle retains the classic boxy silhouette and upright windscreen, but with the rear body section replaced by an open cargo area, making it resemble a "toy truck" style work vehicle popular in niche agricultural and off-road circles. For collectors and enthusiasts, this blend of vintage Jimny DNA and compact truck utility positions it as an attractive proposition.
