Prof. Thirumalai new V-C of Tamil University

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah today appointed senior academician Professor M Thirumalai as Vice Chancellor of Thanjavur-based Tamil University.

Thirumalai, presently Head, Department of Literary Criticism and School of Tamil Studies at Madurai Kamaraj University, will hold the post of Vice-Chancellor for a period of three years from the date of his assuming office,a Raj Bhavan release here said.
