BJP leader Vijay Jolly vs Twitter today

New Delhi: What BJP leader Vijay Jolly described as a protest at the home of journalist Shoma Chaudhury in Delhi was, in fact, a blatant act of harassment. On Twitter, he was assailed for defacing Ms Chaudhary's home, and graffiti-ing "Accused" on her name plate.

BJP leader Vijay Jolly was pilloried on Twitter today after his goonda act at the home of Shoma Chaudhury, who resigned this morning as the Managing Editor of Tehelka news magazine over allegations of mishandling a complaint of sexual assault.

Mr Jolly gathered with a group of party workers at Ms Chaudhury's home and graffiti-ed "Accused" on her name plate.  He said this was his way of protesting against the fact that Ms Chaudhury failed to alert the police when a young Tehelka reporter complained of sexual assault by the magazine's founder Tarun Tejpal.
