Amritsar:
A 16-year-old girl allegedly eloped with a man after withdrawing Rs 95,000 from her father's bank account, police said here on Monday.
In a complaint to the police, Om Prakash, a constable with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), alleged that his daughter was lured on the pretext of marriage by Krishan Kumar who was already married.
He said that when he checked his bank statement, he found that Rs 95,000 had been withdrawn from his account by his daughter.
A case of abduction had been registered against Kumar, police said adding a hunt had been launched to trace the duo.
