A highly-decomposed body of an unidentified woman, aged around 35 years, was found inside a sack at a garbage dump behind a tavern near the Qutab Golf Course in south Delhi on Monday.
A case of murder has been registered and it is suspected that the woman was killed somewhere else and then dumped in New Delhi, DCP (South) Ishwar Singh said.
The incident came to light on Monday when locals complained about stench around the garbage dump and later the body was discovered. Prima facie, the woman was murdered at least five days ago, an official said.
