Wish Advani would not use intemperate language: PM

New Delhi: Attacked by LK Advani for being "the weakest prime minister" the country has seen, Dr Manmohan Singh on Wednesday responded to the criticism. "It's up to people to decide, I am not going to criticize any national leader," the PM said on board the plane while returning from a trip to Pretoria.

Mr Advani made his remarks during his Jan Chetnayatra which he has dedicated to the promotion of clean governance. (Read:'Manmohan Singh- weakest PM ever')

"I wish Advaniji success in his yatra. I hope that he would not use language at times, which appears to be intemperate. In politics it is better to avoid such harsh words," the PM said.

Mr Advani has declared that he does not expect the UPA government will complete its term in office. He has asked his party to prepare for mid-term elections.
