Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party gets 'Bheem' boost for Delhi polls

New Delhi: Actor Praveen Kumar, who played the role of Bheem in BR Chopra's legendary television series 'Mahabharat' is all set to join Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday.

The party today announced three candidates for the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls, among whom are a graduate auto-driver and a former MNC executive.

Bhag Singh, the graduate auto driver, will be the party's candidate from Kalkaji, while 25-year-old Prakash Jharwal, who worked as an Assistant Manager in a multinational company, is the candidate from Devli Assembly constituency.

Rajesh Garg, an RTI activist, is the party's candidate from Rohini.

Meanwhile, two leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Samajwadi Party today formally joined the AAP.

Chaudhary Rambir Singh of the BJP is a former councillor while Dinesh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party was its candidate for municipal elections from Sonia Vihar.
